Job Opening: 32BJ Temp Handyman
Location: Sutton Place South, Midtown Manhattan, NY
Residential Building | Temp Position with chance for permanent hire

We are seeking a skilled and reliable 32BJ Union Handyman to join our building staff at a prestigious residential property on Sutton Place South. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to residents.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plastering, painting, etc.)
• Respond promptly to work orders and emergency service requests
• Assist with seasonal building preparations (HVAC Maintenance, Winterizing, and Painting)
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of mechanical rooms and workspaces
• Collaborate with building management and other staff to ensure operational efficiency
• Monitor and report building conditions and potential issues proactively

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of handyman or building maintenance experience in a large building.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with building systems and safety protocols

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, To Be Determined
• Full Union Pay Rate
