About the Role:

LockNLube is seeking a motivated team-player to join our small but mighty team in West Lebanon, NH. Our fast-paced growth has created the need for an experienced Financial Controller who can oversee our Business Central ERP, financial operations, budgeting, financial planning & analysis, forecasting, cash flow management, tax and regulatory compliance, staff management and other financial related duties. A highly organized, detailed financial professional will do well in this role.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Execute a timely and accurate month-end close within 2-3 business days.
  • Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
  • Oversee the production of monthly financial reports; Ensure that all financial reports are accurate and up to date.
  • Manage the budgeting process and develop long-term financial plans
  • Prepare and assist in annual statutory audit
  • Monitor and analyze costs, expenses, and variances against budgets and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures. Identify cost drivers, assess cost structures, and support the management team in optimizing resource allocation.
  • Management and ultimate responsibility for the ERP system for the company
  • Maintain process innovation and operations excellence across the finance team
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop internal control systems to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

About You:

You are a motivated, energetic person who is excited to be part of a small team working together to create great products and solve problems for our customers. You have excellent time management skills and can juggle multiple competing priorities. You are able to get into a database and troubleshoot formulas and formatting with ease, and turn a complex financial model into concise and actionable business and management insights. You’re willing to pitch in and lend a hand, even if it isn’t outlined in your job description.

You have stellar written and verbal communication skills and are a wizard working in ERP systems and Excel. You have a curiosity about how our products and internal systems work, who our customers are, a strong attention to detail, a desire to ensure that data and systems accurately reflect the reality of the business and an empathetic disposition that makes you want to improve the way we serve our customers and build our internal systems.

You will report directly to the global CFO in Sydney with a dotted line to the company General Manager in New Hampshire. You will work cross-functionally across all areas of the business. As a senior member of the team, you are always looking to improve our operations and company culture to deliver the best possible experience for our customers and employees. You can strike the balance between implementing finance controls and accountability and eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy and busy work.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA (preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP (preferred)
  • EPR implementation experience (preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience as a Sr Staff Accountant or Controller with in-depth knowledge of GAAP
