Job Purpose:

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Copywriter to join our vibrant team and help us spread the joy of gardening! We're looking for someone who writes to feel , not just inform, a storyteller who makes readers feel excitement about a product, connection to a mission, or inspiration to take action! If you have relevant experience, are passionate about sustainable living and making a difference, and can craft copy that moves hearts as much as it informs minds, we would love to have you on our team!

Essential Responsibilities:

• Craft clear, concise, and emotionally engaging messaging for product launches and existing products.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality.
• Enhance website copy to ensure it aligns with Vego’s values and customer needs.
• Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all touchpoints.
• Write Product Detail Page copy and install copy into wireframes in Figma with visual direction.
• Use copy to enhance branding initiatives with emotionally resonant writing.
• Use performance data and feedback to optimize copy for engagement and conversion.
• Support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Assist the Branding Team with tasks from the managing Partners.
• Comply with Company policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Marketing, English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or relevant field required.
• 5+ years of experience writing for websites is required; e-commerce experience strongly preferred.
• Experience using marketing tools like Figma, Canva, Google Workspaces, and project management tools.
• Copywriting: You know how to convey ideas in a concise, evocative way.
• Marketing strategy: You understand the underlying marketing reasons behind what you do.
• Resourcefulness: You can solve problems using available resources.
• Collaboration: You are a team player who is respectful, helpful, and kind to others.

Physical Demands:

This position involves working both indoors at a desk and outdoors in a farm setting. Must be able to operate a computer for prolonged periods with moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, moving objects, reaching and crouching. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Exposure to outdoor environments including hot and cold temperatures and humidity.

Job Location and Work Schedule:

• This is a full-time position based out of our two locations listed below. This position will work at both locations on various days of the week. 
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule with one remote workday per week and four days onsite.
• Headquarters location: 13808 Boudreaux Road, Bldg. #2, Tomball, TX.
• Farmhouse location: 22503 Lain Road, Spring, TX.
• Monday through Friday.
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch break 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.

Benefits

• The salary range is $60,000 - $80,000.
